The fifth of nine siblings, Alvin spent his childhood in Trinidad and Tobago. He later immigrated to Canada where he studied Engineering at TMU (formerly Ryerson University). Following a career in Engineering at one of Ontario’s largest power generating companies, he took early retirement and enrolled at Tyndale University/Seminary where he gained his Master of Divinity degree. For seventeen years, Alvin served as the Discipleship & Care Pastor at the Stone Church in Toronto, affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
The many experiences gained in Bible teaching, in caring for the needs of the congregation, in counselling and walking with people through the difficult seasons of life, inspired and led him to write In Every Season, his first published book.
Alvin Frank lives in Mississauga, Ontario with his wife, Glenda. Together they have two daughters, Karen and Cathy.
